Judith van den Boom (NL) and Gunter Wehmeyer (GER) unite in BoomWehmeyer, a duo that explores new kinds of cross-disciplinary research and design development.
With our work at BoomWehmeyer we aim to activate design solutions and projects that expand the purpose & use of design. Being practical idealists we create new qualities and
better sustainable environments to innovate design strategies for people, education, systems and business. BoomWehmeyer sets out for solutions fit for personal measure and growth for their team, collaborators and environment. With a focus on crossdisciplinary work fields/disciplines and mentorship, we understand each others languages and translate this through active field work to work towards new perspectives. BoomWehmeyer is active in collaboration with organizations, academies, researchers, designers, studio's and a network stretching out in diverse workfields and countries. By connecting into these diverse mobile teams of short/long term participants & students we support a change on the workfloor that creates an open mind to design. We work to unwrap.
